Our rooms aren't trying to win interior design awards - though we are making a number of upgrades to various areas of the hotel. Rooms are clean, comfortable and exactly what you want after a day exploring Braidwood and the Southern Tableands.

All private ensuites and shared bathrooms have been recently renovated, giving modern comfort with country styling.

  • A surprising little gem!! On a whim we decided to stay the night in Braidwood. There wasn't much choice as most of the accommodation was booked out. Do not be put off by staying in a pub, it's very clean and has obviously had refurbishment to the rooms and bathrooms. Very tastefully done. I was very impressed.

  • Lovely town, excellent welcoming staff. The room was much nicer than expected as the price was so good, with excellent shared bathroom facilities. Food was delicious, there does seem to be a mad rush when the kitchen opens for dinner so I had a drink while the rush ended with all the families.

  • The one thing that is an unexpected standout, are the bathrooms. They have amazing facilities for a pub and the showers are quite brilliant. The staff are warm and friendly, and make an evening there a great experience.

  • Two of us came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. Starting off with a game of pool, we then dined in. The food was absolutely delicious and very sizeable. Thank you for the great food, I will definitely be visiting here again and I recommend everyone try it out.

  • Very pleasant experience and excellent food. Delightful high ceilings with easily accessible power points. Made my way down one flight of stairs and ordered a meal at the very busy bar. All clients were respectful of everyone else and the manager there seemed to have everything under her control. Was offered to eat in the dining room where a beautiful fire was lit.

How do I book accommodation?

The best way to access live availability is through booking.com. Alternatively, you can give us a call on (02) 4842 2488 and we can answer any questions you may have.

Is advance booking required?

We definitely recommend pre-booking your stay with us. Braidwood is about an hour from Canberra, Goulburn and Bateman’s Bay. This means it’s a popular rest stop and overnight stay for many travellers passing through. There isn’t much accommodation in town, and we’re usually booked out most nights!

So, it’s important to pre-book your accommodation.

What room types are there?

There are a number of room types to suit your needs. Economy, Double and King Rooms are available, as well as Family rooms. Some rooms have a private ensuite and some have access to our freshly renovated shared bathrooms. Take a look at our Gallery to see what we offer.

Do I need to book a table to dine in?

Generally no, we welcome walk-ins. However during busy times, weekends or if you have a larger group, it’s best to give us a call to reserve a table - (02) 4842 2488
